And speaking of challenging myself, I am going to attempt to expand my outdoor activities by adding a few things that I never done before. This was mainly because of my size and health to tell you all the truth. And now that I have lost roughly 107 lbs and I feel great, I want to challenge myself in new ways and to see how far I could push my boundaries. If you have been following this blog for a while, you may know that I play men's softball during the Spring and I also play basketball every Monday & Sunday all year around. I am still going to continue with these activities because I have a lot of fun doing so. However, in addition to those I am going to start playing baseball every Sunday during the Spring, going into the Summer. And while all of this is fun, I am also going to start training for two Triathlons that I will be doing with my cousin in September! Yes my friends, the Heavy Man is going to be kicking it up a level.
I am very excited that I have given myself the opportunity to participate in all of these different types of sports and events. It makes me fill up with pride because I was not in this position a little over 9 months ago. So with this being said, I need help and advise on how to go about training for the Triathlons. I figure that I can continue with my workout routines while training for my future events at the same time. Please comment on this post, Facebook me, Twitter me, or email me (email@example.com). I am looking for all of the help I can get. Anyway, I will have the details to these events up within the next week, when I get them from my cousin. I am excited about this opportunity and I want to make the best off it.
